So, what is Take on Fitness?

On one end I really mean take on fitness. Identify and push past the self-limiting thoughts of what you could do and really get after it.  On the other hand, I ask, what is your take on fitness? Your idea of health and wellness might look different from your best friend, your brother, your coworkers & that’s perfectly fine! You shouldn’t be thrown into a certain category, need to follow a specific diet, or follow a specific system. As a Health Coach, I’m here to help you identify what the top of the mountain, cross the finish line, stand on stage, move without pain self looks and feels like.

Personal Training

As a coach, it’s my job to help you find that strength and help you reach whatever personal goals you may have. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your long-term goals. I will provide more than just a great workout. I will design a plan that is customized to your needs and focused on achieving optimal performance through constant evaluation. There is no one size fits all exercise strategy. It is important to be able to change directions as soon as something is not working. Your goals may be gaining strength, losing weight, summiting Kilimanjaro, or simply playing with your kids. My goal will always be to get you there in the most advantageous way. Sessions can range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on your wants, needs, and goals.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

  • I am committed to constant learning, spending hours every week diving into the study of biomechanics, nutrition, anatomy, and behavior change to deliver the best possible program and strategies for my clients.

  • My goal isn’t only to get you stronger but to help guide your body towards more functional, stable patterning and clear up some common issues such as the low back, knee, shoulder, elbow, and wrist pain.

  • Whether your goal is to look better, feel better, perform better at your recreational sport, or just to have an upbeat calorie-burning workout!

  • It’s hard to register your own wins and accomplishments. I can provide perspective and scale when you feel like the odds are against you.

Training Sessions


First things first - The purpose of your initial assessment is to help identify your current static and dynamic posture and how those correlate to your movement patterns. The assessment will help guide me in understanding your individual ability to recruit and mobilize correct musculature when moving. We can use this understanding in ongoing 1 on 1 sessions to give you the best possible workout.

During each session, we’ll dynamically assess changes made since the last time we met. We will progress these exercises from a stable environment to a less stable environment until we get to a place where your body is able to maintain a neutral spine and pelvis in an unstable environment. Your body’s ability to maintain control performing everyday tasks and doing all your favorite activities is our ultimate goal.

At the end of our sessions together you should feel comfortable with your nutritional habits and strength goals and be able to conquer your sessions at the gym on your own.

Really makes up the majority of my business. I realize that convenience is a huge part of staying committed to a healthy lifestyle. Online training is perfect for those of you that

Wish to work out in the privacy of your own home.

Have a tight schedule that doesn’t allow for additional travel time.

Parents with kids to look after throughout the day.

In-person clients who want to stay on track while traveling for work or extended vacations.

People outside of the New York/Nashville area wishing to move & feel better.

Nutrition


Exercise is only one pillar of a healthy lifestyle. If you feel you have your movement down but are still failing to see the strength gains or weight loss you’re aiming for, I can help. Let’s discuss how to modify your existing food choices to still include all the foods you love while slowly implementing more of what you’re missing. No torturous cleanses, starvation diets, or cutting out whole macronutrient groups (carbs & fats are our friends) here, just simple sustainable practices to help you get towards your goal and have more energy throughout the day.
